Dead before sunrise, or after a late shift

Overnight is when a weak battery gets found out: the car that won't start before an early shift, or after a late one, or in a parking lot long after everyone else has gone. You don't have to wait for morning, and you don't have to find a store that's open.

Dallas–Fort Worth summers are hard on batteries, and the first real cold snap shows up the ones that were already weak. Neither waits for a convenient hour.

Jump or replace, decided quickly

Pick whichever fits what you know. Each job adds a $19 dispatch fee, once. A jump costs less, and it's the right call when the battery is healthy and something simply drained it.

  • The battery is fairly new and the lights were left on: ask for a jump start, $49–$75.
  • The battery is old, slow to crank, or has died before: ask for a replacement, $239–$255, for eligible vehicles and batteries.
  • Not sure: ask for the jump. The driver can advise on site whether a replacement is needed.

What to have ready at any hour

The year, make and model, where the car is, and the VIN if you can reach it. Dispatch confirms the battery is compatible, and your total, before a driver is sent. We text or call when the driver is on the way. Average arrival is 30 minutes, depending on location and traffic.

While you wait, turn off the lights and accessories, and stay somewhere well lit and visible. After dark, keep the doors locked until you know the driver has arrived.

Warranty, and what's not here

Every replacement battery comes with a 1-year warranty. Keep your invoice, because a warranty claim is checked against it.

There's no battery shop to visit at 3 a.m. and no counter to walk up to. The battery comes to the car, and we don't do mechanical repair, so a car that won't start for some other reason needs a shop.

Common questions

Yes. We're open 24/7, 365 days a year.

Yes: $49–$75 against $239–$255, each plus the $19 dispatch fee. But a jump only helps if the battery can hold a charge.

No. Give dispatch the year, make and model, and the VIN if you can reach it. They confirm which battery is compatible before a driver is sent.

Clicking, slow cranking, dim lights or a dark dashboard when you try to start usually point to the battery. If the engine cranks normally but won't catch, it isn't the battery.
