Replacement is for a tire that can't be repaired safely. A small puncture in the tread is a different job, a plug or patch at $54–$60 plus the dispatch fee.
Signs a tire is past repair: a bulge or a tear in the sidewall, a tire in pieces after a blowout, a hole bigger than a plug can close, or a tire that has been driven on while flat. If you're not sure, ask for a repair first. The driver checks the tire before starting and tells you which it is.
What the price covers
from $129 covers the tire, supplied by TRA, and installing it. The $19 dispatch fee is added once, for sending the driver to you.
Availability varies by tire, so dispatch confirms it, along with your total, before a driver heads out. If more than one tire is damaged, say so in your request.
Nothing beyond the tire is covered, because we don't do mechanical repair. Whichever job you choose, the price for your vehicle is confirmed before anyone is sent.
Set the car up for the install
A little preparation helps the visit go smoothly:
- If you can, park on level ground with room around the wheel. If the car is in a garage or a tight space, say so when you request.
- Read the wheel size off the sidewall or the sticker on the driver's door jamb.
- Find the wheel lock key if your wheels have locking nuts. If it's missing, removal is $70 plus the dispatch fee.
- Keep your phone nearby: we text or call when the driver is on the way.
Replacement or the spare?
If your car carries a usable spare, swapping it on is usually the cheaper way to get moving: from $75 plus the dispatch fee. A new tire is the right call when there's no usable spare.
If the tire is only leaking slowly and the damage is in the tread, ask about a repair first. Keeping the tire you have costs less than a new one.
