Semi truck and 18-wheeler jump start in DFW
A dead battery on a tractor-trailer shouldn't cost you a day. We do heavy-duty jump starts for semi trucks and 18-wheelers wherever the truck sits: a yard, a truck stop, a mile marker on the highway. Call or send a request and choose Semi truck as the vehicle type.

Saying only that the truck is at the yard won't get a driver to the right spot. Have these ready when you request:
- Semi truck chosen as the vehicle type in your request.
- The unit number.
- Exactly where it's parked: the yard, truck stop or mile marker.
- Gate or entrance instructions, if it's a secured yard.
- The tractor's year, make and model.
- What the truck is doing: a slow crank, clicking, dead dash lights, or lights left on overnight. If you run a refrigerator or an inverter off the batteries, say so.
- Whether the hood or a battery box is locked or hard to reach. On many tractors the batteries sit in a box along the frame.
What it costs
A semi truck jump start is $140, plus the $19 dispatch fee, charged once per job. That is its own price, separate from the $49–$75 that applies to other vehicles. Dispatch confirms the price before a driver is sent.
There's no contract and no account. It's one job at one price, and you can call again for the next truck.
Is it really the battery?
Big rigs often carry more than one battery, so a weak start can come from one bad battery in a set. A jump start gets a drained set turning over. If the truck keeps dying, the batteries need a closer look from a truck shop.
If the engine cranks but won't fire, that is not a battery problem and a jump won't help. We don't do mechanical repair, tow or deliver fuel.
If you're on the road
Parked on a shoulder or a ramp? If the truck is in a live traffic lane, or anyone is in danger, call 911 first. Otherwise, hazard lights on, warning triangles out if it's safe to set them, and give dispatch the road, your direction of travel and the mile marker. We text or call when the driver is on the way.
